That's right, I'm coming to New York for a Pointe of Pride event!

New Yorkers, I’ve got good news for you. On August 1, I’ll be at The Ripped Bodice in Brooklyn for a very special hybrid event with writing teacher Josh Krigman:

Who said reading and writing had to be done separately? At Word for Word, we invite a contemporary author to read scenes from recent work, then give you the time to write something of your own inspired by each reading. We end the evening with optional time to share what you’ve written, and a conversation and Q+A with our visiting author. All genres are welcome, no experience is necessary.

Supplies: All supplies (pens, paper, wine!) will be provided, though you're encouraged to bring your notebook if you'd like.

Access+Seating: We will be on the first floor of a bookstore with plenty of chairs.
