Hello, good readers—
Exciting news: POINTE OF PRIDE is now available for preorder in e-book format! If you prefer your books on Kindle or Nook, now is your time. And, if you’re a Barnes & Noble member, you can take advantage of their preorder sale and get 25% off (an extra 10% off for premium members!). Sale ends Friday 1/26, so be quick about it!
And some even more exciting news: My husband and I are expecting our first child this spring! We’re delighted, and I’ll be honest that I’m a little daunted to have a baby and a book coming out within just a few weeks of each other. But these are great problems to have, truly.
Because of the timing, I’ll be doing very few in-person events for POINTE OF PRIDE, and they’ll mostly be in Iowa. But that doesn’t mean you won’t get to hear me talk about the book or get yourself a signed copy. There will be virtual events—stay tuned to this newsletter or my Instagram feed for more info on those. And if you want a signed copy, the only way to guarantee that is to preorder through HEA Book Boutique. They’re local to me and will probably end up driving to my house with a box of books for me to sign when I inevitably get too pregnant to fit behind the wheel of my car. They ship nationally, so you don’t need to be in Iowa to get a signed copy.
Speaking of shipping, advance reader’s copies have started to go out and the reviews and blurbs are, frankly, glowing. None other than Cat Sebastian, author of some of my favourite romances ever and the genius behind WE COULD BE SO GOOD, which landed on basically all the best-of lists at the end of last year, called it “utterly charming.” Over on GoodReads, they’re calling it “enemies to lovers done right” with “sharp prose and terrific pace,” and naturally, “hot,” “steamy,” and “*chef's kiss*.”
Thanks as always for your support, and more soon.
Chloe.
